N.O.R.A. House serves military veterans who have completed detox and residential treatment, or who are stable enough for a structured living environment, and who want continued support for substance use and mental health recovery. A separate NORA House for Women serves female veterans.
Longbranch Recovery is a VA Community Care provider, and eligible veterans can access N.O.R.A. House and the full Longbranch continuum through VA authorization. Our admissions team coordinates referrals with the VA.
Length of stay is individualized. Many veterans remain for several months while they attend IOP at our Covington or Metairie centers, rebuild routines, pursue work or education and prepare for independent living.
