What to Expect at Our Abita Springs Rehab
Admissions and assessment. Our admissions team answers calls 24/7, verifies insurance at no cost and schedules a confidential clinical assessment, often for same-day or next-day arrival.
Medical detox. Detox takes place on campus under the supervision of our medical director and nursing staff, with medications used when clinically appropriate to keep withdrawal safe and as comfortable as possible.
Residential treatment. Clients live on the property and follow a structured daily schedule of individual therapy, group therapy, family sessions and evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR and trauma-focused therapy, balanced with wellness, mindfulness and time outdoors on the grounds.
Length of stay and aftercare. Length of stay is based on clinical need rather than a fixed calendar. Before discharge, every client leaves with an aftercare plan that typically includes step-down to IOP at our Metairie or Covington centers, alumni support and relapse-prevention planning.
Serving the Northshore, Greater New Orleans and South Louisiana
